Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM - 5 PM
Holidays: We close for National Holidays, but most fall on Mondays when we are closed anyway, so it doesn't affect our open days. If, however, the holiday is during the week we will be closed. New Years Day: Closed Easter: Closed Good Friday and Saturday of Easter weekend. 4th of July: Closed only on July 4th. Thanksgiving: Closed Thanksgiving Day and through the weekend Christmas: Closed December 24th, 25th and 26th. Owners, Nancy Lange (Brinkley) Fosdick and Lori Lange Beckers, opened the shop on December 4th, 2004. We named the shop using the first initial of our last names.

OUR HISTORY
Nancy and Lori are sisters who come from a long line of women who enjoyed working with fabric and making quilts. Their maternal great-grandmother was a quilter, as were their grandmother, great aunts, aunts and mother when she was a young woman. Their paternal grandmother was a quilter and as a young boy growing up on a farm, their father learned to quilt as was expected of all of the children in the household. They began their journey with quilts and quilting in the mid-80's when they attended a show hosted by the Austin Area Quilt Guild. Shortly thereafter, they took a class through a community education program and then a more comprehensive one from Kathleen Holland McCrady, who they credit with providing them with the foundation for becoming quilters. The first floor of the building holds approximately 8000 bolts of fabric through which you can shop for just the right ones for your project. In addition, we have books, patterns and notions for quilters of all levels of experience. The walls are covered with many quilts to inspire you. |

- This website is primarily for general information as most of our news is now posted on Facebook or Instagram.
- We send emails periodically to announce sales, upcoming programs and events, upcoming classes or shop closures, especially if they are unexpected closures.
- If you would like to be on our mailing list, please call us at 512-312-2299 or send a message via the contact form on this website or directly to [email protected] asking to be added. We won't ever over use email as we want you to know we are sending something worth reading when we send a message.
- You can also, however, find current information about shop hops, shop programs, classes and Block-of-the-Month programs that we are doing on the various pages of this website.
